  PMC661 is a PCI medium size card(PMC)designed to provide up to 100/10M bit Ethernet connectivity.The PC-661 using 100-tx can perform full duplex operation in both 100 and 10M bit modes.The PP660 Ethernet/PCI engine includes a powerful DMA engine with very deep FIFO buffers.This ensures continuous,complete bandwidth operations with minimal PCI overhead.

  PMC661J implements 100BaseTX connection and can perform full duplex operation in 100 and 10Mbit modes.The PMC661J Ethernet/PCI interface includes a powerful DMA engine with very deep FIFO buffers.This ensures continuous,full bandwidth operations with minimal PCI overhead.In addition,the card edge PCI system can be quickly prototype and developed using the#()*adapter of the GEFanuc embedded system.

  The PMC661J has a fully automatic negotiation function,which can be automatically configured to the highest possible operating mode.This includes options for automatically determining bandwidth and full duplex operation.Two PMC661J boards can be directly wired through simple"crossover".This configuration creates a full duplex 100Mbit dedicated data path,providing high bandwidth at a very low cost.A hub or switch can be used to create more complex dedicated interconnections.In full duplex mode,point-to-point and switching hubs eliminate many of the determinism brought about by traditional Ethernet solutions.This makes PMC661J an excellent candidate for high-performance interconnections that require real-time certainty.
