  The FCM100E FOXBORO Ethernet module base is designed to meet the requirements of industrial automation control systems for high-speed,reliable,real-time,and high-speed data transmission.

  FCM100Et/FCM100E provides interfaces between FBMs through a 2Mbps HDLC fieldbus,as well as a ZCP270 controller,and a 100Mbps Ethernet fieldbus.

  Using FCM100Et/FCM100E and DCS for migration FBMFCM100Et and FCM100E allow communication interface FBM for DCS through optional redundant 100Mbps Ethernet fiber fieldbus.FCM100Et and FCM100E convert the Mbps Ethernet signal used by 100ZCP270 to the 2Mbps signal used by DCS FBM,and vice versa.FCM100Et and FCM100E also provide current isolation fieldbus between 100Mbps Ethernet and 2 Mbps local fieldbus.

  FCM100Ets/FCM100E is paired for redundancy,and can support up to 39 DCSFBMs per FCM100Ets/FCM100E pair.The ZCP270 supports up to 32 connected FCM100Et/FCM100E redundant pairs that can be optionally connected to a 100Mbps Ethernet fieldbus

  ZCP270 supports up to 120 DCS FBMs connected to FCM100Ets/FCM100Es.FCM100Et and FCM100E allow DCS FBM to use 100Mbps Ethernet fiber optic distance fieldbus for communication with ZCP270 through expansion.Provided by FCM100Et and FCM100E

  The distance between the extended network and more fieldbus cabling fiber optic networks.This configuration is very suitable for the site where the DCS group is located,and the FBM should be dispersed over longer distances.

  Installing up to 32 sets of backplane FCM100Ets/FCM100Es and DCS FBMs can be linked to each optional redundant Ethernet switch,with a maximum of 120 DCS FBMs per ZCP270(depending on the selected scan cycle).

  To support redundancy,a pair of FCM100Et or FCM100E must be used for each DCS FBM group.In non redundant configurations,only one FCM100Et or FCM100E group is required for each.The signal transmission distance can reach up to FCM100Ets/FCM100Es and Ethernet fiber optic switches,providing a widely distributed device grouping for distributed control system FBM.The maximum cable count for a 2 Mbps fieldbus is 60 meters(198 feet)in length grouped.
