  FCM10E is a fieldbus communication module designed for various control systems.It allows data to be transmitted between devices on the fieldbus network.

  The FCM10E fieldbus communication module allows the installation of a fieldbus module(FBM)on the communication interface of the DIN rail for communication through high-speed I/A series control stations,with optional redundant 10Mbps Ethernet relay fieldbus.FCM10E can convert to 10 Mbps

  The Ethernet signal used by the control station reaches 2MbpsFBM,and vice versa.They also provide current isolated Ethernet backbone fieldbus and 2 Mbps module fieldbus between 10Mbps.

  FCM10E modules are paired for redundancy,and can support up to 30 FBMs per FCM10E(or pair of FCM10E modules).

  The environmental protection communication module of the fieldbus is suitable for harsh environments according to ISA standard S71.04.

  FCM10E can be used without removing power or communication cables.Six light-emitting diodes(LEDs),integrated into the FCM10E fieldbus communication front-end module,indicate the status of network activity to/from the control station and associated FBMs,as well as the operational status of FCM10E.For redundant configurations,two FCM10E modules are required for each FBM group.Each non redundant configuration requires an FCM10E group.

  Installation of base plate module

  FCM10E is installed on a substrate,which is either DIN rail mounted or rack mounted,including signal fieldbus,power supply,and I/O cable connector connections.A base plate can support up to eight FBMs or a combination of FBMs and FCMs.
