  Agilent HP 3310A is a voltage controlled function generator that provides slope and pulse functions as well as sine,square,and triangular wave outputs.The Agilent HP 3310A has an easy to understand and use front panel,making settings and changes quick and easy.

  3310A was designed at HP Loveland Labs and has plugin functionality to adapt to special applications.The basic instrument can provide sine,square,and triangular waves in the frequency range of 0.01 Hz to 100 kHz(seven decimal ranges).With the help of the HP 3311A trigger/phase-locked plug-in,the generator can also be used as a burst generator,low-frequency pulse generator,frequency multiplier,and phase-locked oscillator with variable phase control.By providing electronic frequency control,additional operational flexibility can be achieved.The externally provided voltage applied through the rear panel connector can control the frequency within any decimal frequency range.Therefore,when used in automatic systems,the output frequency can be programmed,

  In addition to other useful functions,the instrument also has two output stages that provide two independent waveforms for simulating computers or other multi waveform systems.Any output provides any of three waveforms(sine wave,square wave,or triangular wave)independent of the other output,with an amplitude of up to 35 volts peak to peak when open circuit,or up to 15 volts when 600 ohms.Both outputs have short-circuit protection function and can be terminated at any impedance,with minimal degradation of the output signal(nominal output impedance of 600 ohms).

  Each output is DC coupled and has a separate,adjustable 40 dB attenuator.In addition,one output can be switched to provide a reverse version of the waveform that appears on another output,allowing the instrument to provide a balanced push pull signal to ground at any frequency on any waveform.The loading of one output does not affect the other output.

  The 3310A frequency range is 0.0005 Hz to 5 MHz,with a decimal range and a peak to peak output of 15 volts to a 50 ohm load,as well as a positive and negative 5 volt DC offset.All functions and specifications of 3310A,in addition to manual or external triggered single cycle and multi cycle output functions.
