The HP 58503A is based on HP's proven quartz technology. This provides reliability and confidence, as well as excellent short-term stability. The core of this design is an oscillator with an on-site verified mean time between failures (MTBF) of 500000 hours. This provides performance and reliability without the need for regular replacement of oscillators like rubidium sources.



By locking the oscillator to the CPS signal. The HP 58503A provides frequency accuracy better than 1 x 10-12. This provides you with the long-term performance of CPS and the short-term stability of quartz oscillators.
