  General Electric has developed the DS200LDCCH1A card as a driver control LAN(local area network)communication board.This card was developed for GE's Mark V series drivers and exciter boards.The drives of the DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 series can accommodate this board.The functions provided by this board to the host include operator interface,LAN communication,driver and motor processing,and driver reset.

  The DS200LDCCH1A communication card board provides four microprocessors for various interface systems.This card includes a LAN Control Processor(LCP)and a Driver Control Processor(DCP).LCP can accept five bus systems,while DCP provides control over integrated peripheral I/O(such as timers and decoders).The board also includes a Motor Control Processor(MCP)and a Combined Motor Processor(CMP).MCP provides control of motor control circuits and I/O communication.When the processing power of MCP is insufficient to calculate complex mathematics,CMP will provide the required additional processing power.An alphanumeric keyboard is also connected to the board,allowing users to access system settings and diagnostics.
