  DS200ADPAG1A is a universal and important component of the GE Genius I/O system.It achieves smooth data transmission and efficient system operation.

  The GE Genius adapter board DS200ADPAG1A has one 40 pin connector and one 26 pin connector.It also has one 3-pin connector and one 10-pin connector.The cables connected to the 40 pin and 26 pin connectors are secured in place through the built-in retention latch of the connector.However,special considerations are required before using the latch during the board replacement process.

  The fixed latch must be fully engaged to prevent the cable from disconnecting from the connector on the circuit board.To use a fixed latch,slide the latch away from the cable with your fingers.Then,grab the cable at the connector end and gently remove it from the board.To install the cable,first remove the latch and then insert the cable into the connector.

  Before replacing the motherboard,a wrist strap must be worn to protect the drive and motherboard from static electricity.One end of the strap is wrapped around your wrist,while the other end must be connected to a unpainted metal object.This can be a metal leg or chair leg on the workbench,or a metal pillar.Metal provides a place for static electricity to leave the body or circuit board in search of grounding.Some wristbands come with clips that can be fixed to a metal surface,while others come with plugs that connect directly to the workbench.If not connected to a metal surface,the wrist strap cannot effectively discharge static electricity.
