  The PM802F ABB basic unit is a reliable and efficient power monitoring solution.It provides advanced functions and capabilities to ensure accurate measurement and effective management of electrical parameters.

  The basic units PM802F and PM803F cycle through corresponding fieldbus modules to scan signals from fieldbus sensors,process these signals according to the application program installed by the user,and send appropriate designs to the fieldbus actuator through the fieldbus module.Controller redundancy can be achieved by installing two AC800Fs.To ensure fast and smooth takeover by the auxiliary AC 800F in the event of a failure of the main AC 800F,the dedicated redundant communication link of the second Ethernet module ensures that the two AC 800Fs are always synchronized.All inputs and outputs are designed to support redundant operations.The data communication between AC 800F,process,and operator stations operates through the Ethernet system bus on the first Ethernet module.The data exchange with the engineering station is also carried out through the system bus.Engineering station communication may involve downloading new or updated configuration files to the process station,or reporting information about connection modules.When installing or exchanging fieldbus modules,the required configuration information will be automatically updated.Configuration and real-time process data are stored in RAM.To protect this data in the event of a power outage,the RAM power supply is backed up by a battery on the Ethernet module or battery module.The PM 803F has more memory than the PM 802F,so it can handle larger projects.Due to the increase in memory size and different technologies,the buffering time has decreased.
