  The 3500/22M Bentley Transient Data Interface Module is designed to interface with BENTLY Nevada's 3500 monitoring system and collect transient data from various sensors and measurement points.

  The 3500/22M Transient Data Interface(TDI)is an interface between the 3500 monitoring system and compatible software(system 1 Condition monitoring and Diagnostic software and 3500 system Configuration software).TDI combines the functions of the 3500/20 Rack Interface Module(RIM)with the data acquisition functions of communication processors such as TDXnet.The TDI is located in a slot near the a3500 rack power supply.It interfaces with M-series monitors(3500/40M,3500/42M,etc.)to continuously collect steady-state and transient dynamic(waveform)data,and transmit this data to the host software through an Ethernet link.For more information,please refer to the compatibility section at the end of this document.TDI has standard static data capture capabilities.However,using optional channel enabled disks will allow TDI to capture dynamic and high-resolution transient data.TDI includes communication processor functions within the 3500 rack.Although TDI provides certain functions that are common to the entire rack,it is not a part of the critical monitoring path and has no impact on the correct and normal operation of the overall monitoring system for mechanical automatic protection.Each 3500 rack requires a TDI or RIM,which always occupies slot 1(next to the power supply).
