  The BC810 unit consists of two basic components:a substrate(TP857)and a power/logic board.The base plate is the location where the connector connecting the CEX bus and external power supply is located.It is grounded to the DIN rail through the metal components of the casing.The board also comes with external power voting diodes and fuses.The power supply and logic board include a+3.3V converter,logic,drivers for CEX bus interconnection,and connectors for interconnection cables.

  BC810 can be used with PM857,PM861A,PM862,PM863,PM864A,PM865,PM866,PM86A,PM867,and PM891.

  In a fully redundant system with two interconnected BC810 and primary/backup CPU pairs,BC810 supports online replacement of the CPU backplane without interfering with CEX traffic.If BC810 must be replaced,stop all services to the connected CEX segment.
