  The MVI56-MCM-A-B Modbus communication module is a high-performance module designed to achieve communication between A-B devices and Modbus devices.It allows for data exchange and integration between two systems,providing seamless and efficient solutions for industrial automation.

  Allen Bradley and ProSoft Technology MVI56 MCM modules are Modbus communication modules specifically manufactured for the ControlLogix platform.This communication module requires at least 128 MB of RAM to run,but it is recommended to use 256 MB of RAM.It should also have at least 100 MB of hard disk space available for storing application data.

  The Allen Bradley and ProSoft Technology MVI56-MCM Modbus communication modules are connected to the ControlLogix platform through an Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation ControlLogix processor with power supply.The ControlLogix processor requires one free slot in the rack for the MVI56-MCM Modbus communication module,which requires an 800 milliampere backplane power supply to operate.This communication module can be installed in a local ControlLogix rack or a remote ControlLogix rack,but if installed in a remote rack,it requires the use of Ethernet/IP or ControlNet networks to communicate with the ControlLogix processor.The MVI56-MCM Modbus communication module comes with cables and adapter devices,making it as easy to install immediately as possible.The security operation level of this module is Class 1,Division 2,Groups A,B,C,and cULus standard D environment.Its operating temperature range is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
