The MKS 683 intelligent exhaust throttle valve is designed for computer integrated applications that require a simple pressure control system.The 683 integrates all control,communication,and drive circuits into the MKS 253 throttle valve assembly through a compact"add-on"electronic module,eliminating the need for a separate pressure control electronic module.The second generation PID control algorithm can be adjusted to drive the system to quickly set points and ensure repeatable process formulations without operator involvement.The circuit tuning parameters can be fully adjusted to adapt to changes in system parameters.
The 683 throttle valve has two modes:baffle positioning or pressure control,either of which can be activated by the user through a network communication interface.All adjustable setting parameters,runtime operations,and diagnostic information can be obtained through network communication interfaces.The 683 model also includes an adjustable soft start function to change settings to minimize turbulence and thus reduce indoor particle distribution.Two alarm relay outputs can be fully adjusted for tripping under specified pressure,valve position,or set point deviation settings.The 683 model is designed to be compatible with the MKS Digital Baratron®Capacitive pressure gauges are compatible to provide all components required for closed-loop pressure control through a network.Alternatively,the 683 model will receive 0-10 VDC signals from traditional analog Baratron capacitive pressure gauges for closed-loop control.This downstream pressure control technology provides a wide dynamic range,suitable for all types of pumps,provides fast response,and can withstand most exhaust gases.
