  The IS200EGDMH1AFF GE exciter on-site grounding detection module is designed to provide grounding detection and monitoring functions for GE exciters.It ensures the safety and normal operation of the excitation machine on-site by detecting any ground potential and alerting operators to potential issues.

  IS200EGDMH1AFF GE is an excitation field ground detection module,which is the functional abbreviation of EGDM.During the installation process,the module will be installed on the exciter power backplane rack and will be close to the EXSM module.This module runs on a single and redundant system,which requires one EGDM,while a redundant system requires three EGDM modules.These two modules work together to determine the possibility of on-site ground leakage occurring at any point on the DC or AC side.

  When the EGDM module and DSPX module are connected through a fiber optic cable,the EGDM module will send the used voltage to the DSPX module through the fiber optic cable;After this process,the voltage will be checked and an alarm will be attached by DSPX.There are three LED indicators on the panel.The three indicators in the IS200EGDMH1AFF module are power indicator,active indicator,and selective main indicator.
