  The SST SST-PP3-CLX series controller and slave controller communication module are connected to the Rockwell controller,the Rockwell controller,and the ProFIFUS network.Each module has a communication port that serves as a slave protocol for the Profibus DP main program and/or exchanging data with other PROFIBUS compatible devices.

  The SST-PP3-CLX-ROL module is delivered together with its Embedded Configuration(AOP)for easy integration into the control system using RSLOGX5000 software.The data transmission from the SST module to the control Logix processor supports two modes;A"direct mode"that allows mapping of ProFIAUS data(496 input bytes/496 output bytes)in I/O processor images;Another"Pagg mode"allows access to LogixCPU memory from user-defined data spaces,accessing 1984 input bytes and 1968 input bytes.

  The remote link library software provides additional functionality for the Brad Communication SSTProfibus module by remotely monitoring or downloading changes to the PROFIBUS configuration.This is done through Rockwell Automation's RSLINX software,which routes data from Bradley Communications's SSTProFIBUS main configuration software to the Allende Bradley Control Llogix backend via Ethernet.This scheme can be used for local or remote racks via CIP networks,such as Ethernet/IP or control networks.
