  S800 I/O is a comprehensive distributed modular process I/O system that can communicate with higher-level controllers and PLCs through industry standard fieldbuses.The TB820V2 ModuleBus modem is the fiber optic interface of ModuleBus.The ModuleBus modem has an electrical interface and an optical interface,which are logically the same bus.The electrical ModuleBus can connect up to 12 I/O modules,and the fiber optic ModuleBus can connect up to 7 clusters.Fiber optic interfaces are suitable for local distribution of I/O clusters and situations where more than 12 I/O modules are required in I/O stations.
