  Product Description

  The PM866 3BSE050200R1 processor unit is the main processor unit of the ABB 800xA system.

  The CPU board contains the microprocessor and RAM memory,Real-time clock,LED indicator,INIT button and CompactFlash interface.

  The motherboard of the PM866 controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports(CN1,CN2)for connecting to the control network and two RJ45 serial ports(COM3,COM4).One of the serial ports(COM3)is an RS-232C port with a modem control signal,while the other port(COM4)is isolated and used to connect configuration tools.This controller supports CPU redundancy to achieve higher availability(CPU,CEX-Bus,communication interface,and S800 I/O).

  Using a unique sliding and locking mechanism,simple DIN rail installation/disassembly procedure.All substrates are equipped with unique Ethernet addresses to provide hardware identification for each CPU.This address can be found on the Ethernet address label attached to the TP830 substrate.
