The thermal-resistance aluminum alloy conductor is a kind of special conductor with good properties and economy,whose comprehensive cost is much lower than that of common conductors. Its popularization in transmission line projects should have obvious economical and social benefits.

Compares to the ordinary hard aluminum wire(HAl),thermal-resistance aluminum wire's (TAl) mechanical properties after one hour's heating and ling-term soften feature are obviously better than HAl.
Practice shows that using TACSR conductors simplify the circuit structure and reduce the fittings and components.also have great benefits to the line's operating safety.

Firstly,this wire is to add Zr elements into aluminum,in order to improve the thermal properties,which means the permitted operating temperature increased and thus,it greatly improves the tansmission capacity.
