Instructions for the Use of DTL Series Belt Conveyors

Scope of application:

Belt conveyor is a kind of widely used continuous conveying equipment, which can be transported horizontally or within the inclination angle of less than 20 degrees. It is widely used in wharf, warehouse, grain and oil processing enterprises to transport bulk or packaging materials and packing stacking operations. It can also be used in sand, coal, metallurgy, chemical and other industries to transport fine particulate materials.

III. Installation and Debugging
1) Pre-installation preparation:

1) First, check and count the number of parts and components of belt conveyor.
2) Before installation, check whether the transmission parts are flexible or not, and whether the lubricating oil in the parts requiring lubrication is dry. If it is found that dry dumplings should be added.
3) Installation method is decided according to process design. Fixed anchor bolts should be arranged according to specific actual size. The column should be fixed on the anchor bolts, and the level of the main support surface on both sides and the parallelism of the head frame and tailstock should be calibrated by the level meter.

2Installation:
1) When installing, the non-coincidence between the center line of the frame and the longitudinal center line of the conveyor should be ensured to be less than 3 mm, and the relative elevation should not exceed 2 mm and the span should not exceed 1.5 mm.
2) Installation of support device requires that the surface of each idler (groove support device, referring to intermediate idler) should be connected on the same horizontal plane, and the flatness error per meter should not exceed 5 mm. The mismatch between the transverse center line of idler and the longitudinal axis of conveyor should not exceed 6 mm.

3) The screw tensioner should not be less than 100 mm in front of loosening.
4) The installation position of the conveyor must be convenient for the operation and management of the workers, and the conveyor equipped in various corridors must leave enough space for operation and maintenance according to the relevant requirements.
5) In addition to the general start-stop switch, an emergency stop switch should be set up every 20 meters along the conveyor for long-length conveyors, so that operators can stop in time to deal with conveyor accidents when they find them.
 
    Operation and use:

1Air Running Test
After installation of each part of conveyor, idling test should be carried out.
 
    Before driving, all the tools and debris left in the conveyor should be removed.

2) Add enough lubricating oil (grease) to each bearing transmission and reducer as required.
 
    Check all parts of the conveyor whether fixed and reliable, intact, electrical and safety protection is complete, conveyor belt and transmission triangle belt tightness is appropriate.
 
    Driving by hand or by ignition, after confirming that there is no abnormality, the driver can be officially started and the idling test can be carried out.
 
    The idling test shall not be less than 30 minutes. During the operation, special persons shall be set up at the main parts of the nose, tail and middle to observe the operation, such as stopping and eliminating problems in time.

2Load operation test
The load operation test can be carried out after the idling test has no problem.First of all, no-load startup, until the normal operation, gradually charging, striving to feed uniformly, not suddenly a large number of feeding, in order to prevent overload, parking, must wait for the conveyor after the completion of the material delivery, no-load parking.

3Operation.
    Belt conveyor must be started without load, and can be fed after all normal conditions. No large number of sudden increase or overload operation is allowed.

2) Belt conveyor must stop at no-load after material transportation. In case of full-load emergency shutdown and restart, in order to avoid damage to the machine parts, the material on the belt should be properly excluded.
 
    If a conveyor line is formed with several conveyors, the last conveyor should be opened at the start-up stage and then started progressively. The stopping sequence is opposite to the starting sequence. If the middle conveyor fails, it should stop feeding first, stop the feeding conveyor at the stop point, and then stop the faulty conveyor for maintenance. Otherwise, the material will accumulate and cause losses.

4) During operation, iron, bulk materials and impurities should be strictly avoided from mixing into the tape, so as to avoid damaging the machine parts or causing other accidents.
V. Maintenance and Maintenance
 
    During the working process of belt conveyor, attention should be paid to the observation. If abnormal noise or faults are found in the conveyor, stop and remove them in time. No belt fault should be allowed to work.
 
    Check every part of the equipment regularly to keep the conveyor belt loose properly. If the conveyor belt is too loose, slipping and idling will occur. If the conveyor belt is too tight, the bearing life of the head and tail drum of the conveyor will be affected.
 
    When the conveyor works, ensure that all the upper and lower idlers are running normally, and there can not be a few cartons or no turning. If the upper and lower idlers do not turn, the friction tugboat of the conveyor belt will cause severe friction between the belt and the tugboat, and reduce the service life of the belt, the idlers should be repaired or replaced in time.
 
    The tape should not be exposed to sunshine or rain for a long time, so as to avoid the corrosion and deformation of the tape and affect its service life.
 
    Motor, this machine adopts drum motor, filling special grease strictly according to the requirements of drum motor, checking oil surface regularly, and doing maintenance in time.

6) Generally speaking, when the conveyor is in operation for 200-300 hours, it is necessary to check the lubricating oil inside the single drum once a year, once a mid-repair, once a year, twice a major repair. During the overhaul, all parts of the belt conveyor should be disassembled and greasy, worn parts should be replaced with new ones, and the operation of upper and lower idlers should be solved even if problems are found.
