  Allen Bradley 1786 ControlNet Repeater with Fiber Ring Repeater Module Type,62.5/125 micron multimode fiber or 9/125 micron

  The Allen Bradley 1786-RPAB adapter is a ControlNet modular repeater adapter.It is used in conjunction with the RG6 copper coaxial fiber type and can connect multiple modules.Specifically,the 1786-RPAB repeater adapter can connect up to 2 modules and up to 4 Allen Bradley 1786 modules-RPFS,1786-RPCD,or 1786-RPFM repeater modules when used with Allen Bradley 1786-RPFRXL/B or 1786-RPFRL modules.The 1786-RPAB repeater adapter requires a 24 volt DC input power supply and can provide a maximum backplane output current of 1.6 amperes at 5 volts DC.

  The 1786-RPAB repeater adapter has different functions,such as extending network length,performing network media conversion from coaxial or copper media to optical media,and from optical media to coaxial or copper media,providing power for repeater modules,and creating ring,star,or peer-to-peer network topologies.The relay adapter and relay module are both equipped with 2 status indicators,indicating whether they are both powered on or have detected a fault(also known as ready/faulty),and whether there are errors in the data being received by the adapter and module.The entire 1786-RPAB repeater adapter is approximately 4 x 4 x 3 inches in size and weighs approximately 7 ounces.This B-series repeater adapter is also known as 1786-RPA/B.

  Repeaters extend the length of the network;Create star,ring,or point-to-point topologies;And perform the conversion of network media from copper to fiber and from fiber to copper.A maximum of 20 relay adapters can be placed in a series.

  The relay adapter comes with the following items:

  A detachable terminal block(power connector)connected to the repeater adapter.
