The multifunctional link series is a complete fiber optic series cost solution for optical link components that require low-cost applications.The HFBR-0500Z series includes specifications for ease of design.This series of components is very suitable for solving voltage isolation/insulation issues,EMI/RFI immunity,or data security.The optical link logic compatible receiver simplifies the design and the complete specifications of each component.The key optical and electrical parameters of this configuration link fully guarantee 0°to 70°C with the HFBR-0500Z series.Multiple packaging configurations and connectors provide designers with numerous mechanical solutions to meet application requirements.The transmitter and receiver components have been designed for volume/low-cost assembly processes,such as automatic insertion and wave soldering.The transmitter contains a 660 nm LED.The receiver includes a monolithic DC coupled digital IC receiver with a Open collector Schottky output transistor.An internal pull-up resistor can be used for the HFBR-25X1Z/2Z/4Z receiver.The shielding has been integrated into the receiver IC to provide additional local noise immunity.The internal optical components have been optimized for use with plastic optical fibers with a diameter of 1 millimeter.The universal link specification includes all connector interface losses.Therefore,optics simplifies the calculations used for public link applications.
