  There are three specifications for the ABB horizontal pillow type tension gauge head:the standard PFTL 101A/B,which is usually used for conventional metal processing lines.This pressure head is suitable for applications with heavy rolls,wide tension range,and high operating speed.

  For tension measurement applications of strips with emulsion in cold rolling mills,annealing,and galvanizing production lines,it is recommended to use PFTL 101AE/BE of the rolling machine.The PFTL 101AE/BE pressure head uses fixed connecting cables,with a protection level of IP 66,and can operate accurately and reliably for a long time in applications with emulsions.All ABB tension gauge heads were calibrated upon delivery.

  The acid resistant PFTL 101AER/BER pressure head is designed specifically for pickling production lines,achieving a protection level of IP 66/67.
