  REF615E_ E HBFHEAGNCA1BNN1XE ABB feeder protection and control relay,as a dedicated feeder protection and control relay,is specifically used for protection,control,measurement,and monitoring of public and industrial distribution systems.

  Feeder Protective relay REF615 can provide protection,control,measurement and monitoring functions for power system and industrial distribution network.This relay was developed and designed on a new platform according to the IEC 61850 protocol.This enables the product to fundamentally support features such as interoperability and horizontal communication between on-site devices,without the need for additional communication modules.

  This relay can serve as the main protection for overhead and feeder lines in the distribution network,and can also serve as backup protection in systems that require separation of protection and control functions or require redundant protection.

  According to pre configuration,this relay can be used for networks with ungrounded neutral points,resistive grounding,compensatory grounding,and direct grounding,as well as for overhead lines and cable feeders.These applications are standard configurations in relays.Users can directly put it into operation after setting it up.

  The 615 series relays support multiple communication protocols:Modbus and IEC 61850 with GOOSE information.

  REF615E_ E feeder Protective relay can provide overcurrent protection,overcurrent protection with time limit and thermal overload protection,as well as directional and non directional grounding protection,sensitive grounding protection(SEF)and instantaneous grounding protection(including intermittent grounding protection)for feeder cables.In addition,the product also integrates a flexible configuration with multiple rounds of reclosing function,which can achieve pre,post,and acceleration functions of reclosing.

  REF615E_ E can be equipped with three arc detection channels through optional accessories,supporting arc fault protection for cable compartments,busbars,and circuit breakers of metal clad switchgear.The optional communication module has an arc fault protection sensor interface.Fast tripping improves personal safety and limits the damage to switchgear materials in case of Arc fault.

  Feeder Protective relay REF615 has the function of directional or non directional grounding fault protection connected to output feeder with phase current transformer and magnetic balance current transformer.Directional ground fault protection is mainly used under the conditions of devices and zero sequence voltage measurement devices.Standard configuration A is not grounded or in a compensation network,while directional ground fault protection and B can provide directional ground fault protection.The calculation of phase current is used in direct or low impedance grounding networks.The zero sequence current generated can be used for(off road)dual phase simultaneous ground fault protection.The relay also has intermittent grounding protection function.
