SYN5200a-Z,V217 SYNCHOTACT5 3BHB006713R0217 ABB is a SYNCHOTACT 5 digital synchronizer used for automatic synchronization and parallel connection between generators and lines,as well as parallel connection of synchronized lines.This device is designed for system frequencies of 50/60 Hz or 162/3 Hz.
SYN 5200 consists of two independent channels with different hardware and software.This dual channel feature maximizes the safety of preventing incorrect parallel connections.All parameters required for parallel connection are stored in one parameter set.The conditions and characteristics of parallel voltage and frequency matchers are included in this set.By providing options for seven parameter sets,it is possible to parallelize under different conditions or use the same matcher with different matcher characteristics.Seven configurable digital inputs and outputs are available for selecting parameter sets for reverse indication.
Data that is crucial for debugging and control can be uploaded or downloaded using the computer tool SynView,or through the front panel of the unit.
The automatic parallel connection process can be basically divided into four functional blocks:
1.Measurement
2.Voltage and frequency matching
3.Parallel status monitoring
4.Parallel command generation
Voltage measurement
The two input voltages U1 and U2 are transmitted to the processor,resistor,differential amplifier,low-pass filter,and AD converter through high impedance inputs.
Voltage measurement channel 2
The two input voltages U1 and U2 are passed through a high impedance input resistor and a differential amplifier.The signal of amplitude value is transformed and filtered by the following formula.For zero crossing detection,the signal is filtered and passed through a comparator.The signal prepared in this way passes through an A/D converter.
Voltage and frequency matching
If the voltage U1 is within the range between Umin and Umax,and the voltage U2 is greater than U0max,the adjustment command will be released.Adjust the direction.
The command depends on the polarity of AU.
As an additional condition,both frequencies must be within the range of fn+5 Hz.
disposition
