  S800 I/O is a comprehensive,distributed,and modular process I/O system that communicates with the parent controller and PLCS through industry standard fieldbus.The TB820V2 modem is a fiber optic interface.This modem has electrical and optical interfaces that logically share the same bus.Up to 12 I/O modules can be connected to electrical modules,and up to 7 clusters can be connected to fiber optic modules.Fiber optic interfaces are used for local distribution of I/O clusters,where I/O stations require more than 12 I/O modules.
