  The 125768-01 Rack Interface Module(RIM)is a 3500 rack.It supports configuring racks and retrieving mechanical information.This RIM must be located in slot 1 of the rack(near the power supply).

  RIM supports compatible Bently Nevada external communication processors such as TDXnet,TDIX,and DDIX.The rear integration module provides certain general functions for the entire rack,and the RIM is not a part of the critical monitoring path and will not affect the overall monitoring system.Each rack requires one RIM.

  For the third mock examination Redundancy(TMR)applications,the 3500 system requires a TMR version of the RIM.In addition to all standard RIM functions,the TMR RIM also performs"Monitor Channel Comparison."The 3500 TMR configuration uses the settings specified in to implement monitor voting monitor options.Using this method,the TMR RIM continuously compares the outputs of three(3)redundant monitors.
