  The FIREYE E1R1,EUV1,ERT1,and EUVS4 amplifier modules are integrated with the FIREYE FLAME MONITOR system.These modules use any FIREYE AutoCheck infrared scanner,standard UV scanner,flame rod,and UV self checking scanner for flame scanning.After selecting the scanner,the correct amplifier module must be inserted into the FlameMonitor chassis.

  The Fireye flame amplifier module is used in conjunction with an appropriate flame scanner to provide flame scanning functionality in the flame monitoring system.Fireye offers UV amplifiers(EUV1),self checking UV amplifiers(EUVS4),flame correction amplifiers(ERT1)for use with flame rods and photocells,as well as automatic check infrared amplifiers:E1R1(standard model),E1R2(high sensitivity model),and E1R3(for solid fuel).

  Self checking UV scanners and amplifiers should be used for continuous combustion operation of burners or applications where the burner is turned on for a long time(such as 24 hours)without cycling.

  The flame amplifier must be used in conjunction with an appropriate flame scanner.

  When replacing any flame scanner or amplifier,the burner should be turned on and off multiple times to ensure normal operation.

  Note:UV1,UV2,UV8A,UV90,and 45UV3 UV flame scanners and related amplifier modules are non self checking UV systems and should only be used for burners after cycling(e.g.at least every 12 hours)for safety checks on the circuits to be exercised.If component inspection is required during the operation of a continuous burning burner,please use a self checking ultraviolet flame scanner(45UV5)with relevant amplifier module(EUVS4)or an infrared flame scanner(48PT2)with relevant amplifier to automatically check the amplifier(E1R1).
