  The FBM39 FOXBORO fieldbus module provides process sensors/actuators and redundant fieldbuses.The module appropriately converts field devices to allow for communication through the fieldbus.The fieldbus module can be used in I/A series systems,divided into three categories;Main module,expandable main module

  And expansion modules.

  Each main module is independently connected to the fieldbus,with a fixed(i.e.non expandable)capacity for field input/output channels,and performs signal conversion and other related operations on these resident input/output channels.

  All main modules include the following content:

  Dual transceivers(for fieldbus communication)

  ?Memory

  ?DC/DC power converter(accepts redundant power input)

  ?Safety logic

  Power supply safety and online self inspection circuit.

  Scalable Main Module

  Each expandable main module is independently connected to the fieldbus,performing signal conversion and resident input/output channels,and can support a single expansion module functionally.The optional use of expansion modules has added on-site capacity input/output channels to accommodate additional signals of the same or different types of fields.

  All expandable main modules include the following content:

  Expansion module

  Each expansion module is executed through a scalable main module,which depends on the supported main module signal conversion and other related performance operations in terms of functionality.

  The expansion module can be selected to increase the input/output capability of on-site signals and adapt to the input/output capability of on-site signals by supporting the main module or providing supplementary modules,as well as by supporting the main module.

  calibration

  The analog input/output module is shipped before leaving the factory and does not require on-site calibration.Additionally,the digital input/output module does not require on-site adjustment.Therefore,the fieldbus module does not include local(i.e.module installation)manual control or jumpers.

  allocation

  The input/output function module selected for multifunctional use reflects the cable component functions suitable for specific situations through the use of terminals.In addition,each fieldbus module can be configured to operate using applicable fields
