Structural Design

1. Horizontal Installation:

   • The pump casing is horizontally split along the axis, with the upper part as the pump cover and the lower part as the pump body.

   • Both the suction and discharge ports are located below the pump axis, perpendicular to it.

   • Maintenance is simplified as the rotor assembly can be accessed by removing the pump cover without disconnecting the inlet and outlet pipelines.

   • Shaft sealing options include soft packing or mechanical seals.

2. Installation Flexibility:

   • The COS series pumps can be installed horizontally or vertically.

   • For horizontal pumps, the drive end can be positioned on the left or right side as per user requirements.

   • Flange holes can be designed according to GB, ISO, DIN, BS, or ASI standards.

3. Bearing Configuration:

   • Horizontal pumps use grease-lubricated ball bearings at both ends, with an optional oil-lubricated structure.

   • Vertical pumps feature grease-lubricated ball bearings at the upper end and medium-lubricated silicon carbide wear-resistant sliding bearings at the lower end.

4. Rotation Direction:

   • The pump can be designed for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation based on user specifications.
